It’s officially 2025 and what better way to kick things off than by revamping your routine in the form of new year skin care resolutions.
Whether you're aiming to simplify, try new products or zero in on specific concerns, sorting out steps that are aligned with your goals can seriously transform your skin.
To get you on the right path, we’ve listed seven resolutions below. Of course you can tweak them, but consider this your roadmap to healthy, balanced, glowing skin for the year ahead.
- Keep it simple
If you spent 2024 chopping and changing products, now is the time to streamline your routine and find the formulas that really work for you. Start by asking yourself: what are your skin goals? This should help you simplify things. If in doubt, know that a good skincare routine should include:
- A cleanser (Try Gentle Cleanser).
- A treatment serum, if not two.
- An exfoliant (our bestselling Glycolic Scrub 14% is a great place to start).
- A moisturiser (Moisture Defence Normal Skin is light but hydrating).
- SPF (Face The Day SPF 50+ will protect and plump skin).
You can add masks, oils, eye cream, mists and other bonus steps from this point.
- Stay consistent
In the same vein, consistency will ensure you see real results. Be diligent with your morning and evening routines, and commit to habits like frequent SPF reapplication and double cleansing. And take your time when cleansing: spending 30+ seconds is enough to change the look and feel of your skin.
- Protect yourself
Environmental exposure is responsible for almost all signs of premature visible skin ageing. And this goes beyond the sun’s UV rays. Pollution also plays a role, especially if you live in an urban environment. The easiest and most effective way to ensure you’re protecting your face from all of the above is with antioxidants plus daily sunscreen.
As for the antioxidant, try our Vitamin C Ceramide Moisturiser. Not only will it give you hydrated, glowy skin, it also works to neutralise environmental assaults, preventing fine lines and dullness while boosting collagen production.
In the sunscreen department, try our Face The Day SPF 50+, a broad-spectrum formula that protects against UV radiation for healthy-looking skin.
- Know your actives
If you’re confusing your Glycolic with your Lactic, make 2025 the year you get a handle on active skincare ingredients. This will help you choose treatment products that target skin concerns, including ageing, pigmentation, dehydration, bumpy texture and breakouts.
Here’s a quick guide:
- Retinol: Boosts collagen production, reduces wrinkles and accelerates cell turnover.
- Vitamin C: Brightens skin, fades dark spots and provides antioxidant protection.
- Hyaluronic Acid: Deeply hydrates and plumps skin by retaining moisture.
- Niacinamide: Soothes inflammation, improves skin texture and reduces redness.
- Lactic Acid: Gently exfoliates and rehydrates for bright, smooth skin.
- Glycolic Acid: Deeply exfoliates for a brighter, more even tone.
- Peptides: Support skin’s natural barrier, promoting firmness and elasticity.
- Try Peptides
On the subject of ingredients, we’re calling out Peptides as one of the biggest skincare trends of 2025 (and for good reason). We love them for their ability to work at a cellular level to improve skin quality, resulting in firmer, smoother, plumper-looking skin.

- Eat for your skin
Think about your diet as an extension of your skincare routine. Look to omega-3-rich salmon, vitamin C-packed oranges, antioxidant-rich blueberries, green leafy veggies (like spinach) and healthy fats in the form of avocado and nuts.
- Think about in-clinic treatments
If you want to really level up your skin in 2025, commit to in-clinic skin treatments. By addressing deeper skin concerns and providing targeted solutions, regular treatments (including peels, microneedling and AquaFacials) offer personalised care for specific issues like pigmentation, fine lines and acne.
